Americans can travel the UK without quarantining after vaccination

It is going to be the passport of freedom for those who have been fully vaccinated and planning to travel to the UK. The U.K.’s revised travel regulations took upshot Monday. They were originally only announced for travel to England, but administrations from Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, which set their own systems, announced they would also give up their 10-day isolation period prerequisite for completely vaccinated people from the European Union and the U.S.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps had announced on Twitter that they are helping reunite the population living in the U.S. and European regions with their family and friends in the UK. They said that they were waiting for the moment for so long.
The lifting of quarantine regulations came just a week after the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the U.S. The State Department advised against touring to the United Kingdom due to rising COVID-19 case counts. U.S. residents have been authorized to tour the U.K. during the pandemic but faced travel limitations, comprising coronavirus testing provisions and quarantine.

Prerequisites for travel to UK from the US
Under the relaxed ordinances for vaccinated Americans and Europeans, travelers to England, Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland will still be accountable to COVID testing rules.

● Visitors must have obtained their last vaccine dose at least 14 entire days before entering the U.K.

● Countries impose a pre-departure test as well as a test upon entrance. The latter must be put up with by day two of the trip. Fully Vaccinated Americans must also deliver proof of U.S. living and fill out a passenger locator form.

● Travelers returning to the United States must also yet show a negative COVID test or current recovery from COVID-19 to board U.S.-bound international flyings under a CDC provision in the area since January. The requirement applies to all U.S.-bound travelers on international aviation, even those who are completely vaccinated.
● But the U.S. has no agendas to reciprocate by hoisting travel constraints anytime soon given the surge of the delta variant, according to the White House.
● The United States’ recent travel restrictions, which reject entry for the population from the European Schengen region, United Kingdom, and other nations will continue in place.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki told at a press briefing that as the situation is still not so good today with the delta variant, we will maintain existing travel limitations for a few reasons. The more infectious delta variant is circulating both here and around the globe. Ridden by the delta variant, cases are surging here at home, especially among those who are unvaccinated and seem likely to proceed in the weeks ahead.
